All these partners must prove their qualifications to become MCM partners and set analyses to stay current on Google’s latest services. Keeping the certificates requires them to update their logs and reviews regularly.
Google MCM (Multiple Customer Management) includes Open Bidding, Ad Manager, and GAM 360. There are a lot of Ad management companies that aren’t Google-certified partners, although many are highly competent.
They can be ideal alternatives to monetizing your sites and apps; however, this post includes only qualified GAM partners eligible for access to ad inventory.
10 Of The Best Google MCM Partners (AdX)
Now, let’s look at 10 Google MCM/AdX partners, why they are so effective, and some pros and cons.
1. Raptive
You’ve probably heard of Adthrive, as it was a famous ad management service and a premier Google Ad Manager partner. The same company that acted for both CafeMedia and AdThrive. Now, both brands are known as Raptive.
Although they added some new features, the operation remained the same. According to Raptive’s website, over 3,500 content creators use the platform.
Raptive offers the highest CPM rates in ad monetization; if you get web traffic in the US, Canada, Australia, etc., you might get up to $30 CPM rates.
Raptive is ideal for bloggers who create long-form content, especially niches like cooking, decorating, and hobbies (digital marketers use Raptive.
Offers smart loading and deferred ads, both lazy and in-line. You can run all kinds of ads, including video ads – Example ad here:
How Can Publishers Join Raptive?
- A minimum of 100K monthly page hits on Google Analytics
- Most traffic should come from the USA, AUS, New Zealand, and the UK.
- High-quality content that’s helping the audience and advertisers
If you already monetize a website with them, you don’t need 100K page views for other sites (only 30K PV). Raptive accepts a small percentage of applications, and some publishers stated that they were denied despite the high traffic.
For publishers, the first payment takes 45 days (get paid every 15 with Net 45). The minimum payment threshold is $25, except for wire transfers. Payoneer, Wise, eCheck, and wire transfer are all supported.
Raptive is popular with bloggers who wish to monetize their sites using a fine Google Adx partner. Suits lifestyle blogs that want the right balance of ads and user experience with premium ads and offers decent RPM rates.
Pros:
- Pay on time with flexible payment options.
- They have the highest CPM rates in the industry.
- Raptive Analytics will help you figure out ad revenue accurately.
- Google Premier publishing partner, and got other premium ad exchanges.
Cons:
- Strict approval process—you need a blog with 100K monthly visitors.
- Getting on isn’t as easy as AdSense, Ezoic, etc.
2. Mediavine
I like Mediavine because it’s the same as Raptive, and the RPM rates are fair. They work with premium ad partners who pay high fees, and Mediavine is one of the best Google Adx full-stack ad management providers.
Any lifestyle area, including finance, tourism, food, and online marketing, can be profitable with Mediavine. Over 10,000 sites, including NichePursuits, Ohio Tropics, and many others, use Mediavine to monetize their content.
But websites need to meet these requirements to join Mediavine:
- Fifty thousand sessions in the last 30 days (Google Analytics).
- Having a good track record with Google AdSense. They’re a Premier Google MCM Partner, so their regulations are strict.
- Need compelling long-form content relevant to the ad partners.
- No matter how popular your site is, Mediavine won’t approve it if it doesn’t have quality content.
You’ll get paid on Net65 terms with Mediavine. Payment methods include PayPal, ACH, and wire transfers. For PayPal, the minimum threshold is $25.
Pros:
- Partner with high-quality advertisers.
- Modern ad tech to improve performance and maximize revenue.
- Ad revenue and CPM are impressive compared to other networks.
- Several payment options with reasonable thresholds.
Cons:
- It takes time to go through a rigorous approval process.
- Overstuffed with features (blogging and SEO guidance).
- Advertisements on Mediavine include the logo and need space.
- Publishers must sign the contract and notify one month in advance.
Mediavine has other pros and cons, but it is a good Raptive Alternative for content creators and one of Google’s premium MCM partners. Provides better earnings than AD platforms for bloggers, and more ads mean more revenue.
3. Ezoic
Among all the ad revenue optimization platforms on this list, Ezoic is probably the most popular certified Google MCM partner. Seochatter, Askdavetaylor, and over 25,000 websites have chosen Ezoic as their monetization option. Ezoic is a good ad network for small publishers, but you’ll get both good and bad things.
Ezoic has a 30-day pay schedule (You get paid in July for June’s revenue). PayPal and Payoneer are the payment options – the minimum payout is $20. However, I don’t like Ezoic because it has overkill features and too many ad slots.
Requirements: Ezioic offers two ways to join: Access Now and Levels.
- Ezoic Access now: designed for small publishers that receive fewer than 10,000 MV. Don’t have to worry about pageview limits; they can get ads from Google Adx (support is only available through the user forum).
- Levels: For publishers with over 10,000 monthly visitors (1 to level 5). Visitors over 50k per month qualify for premium features.
Regardless of your niche, Ezoic is open to quality content. Unlike others, Ezoic accepts most niches, so there is no need to use only crypto ad networks.
Ad Management:
Ezoic’s integration isn’t as good as others; publishers need to connect via NS to use Ezoic for optimal performance. There are two other ways: using Cloudflare integration (manageable but tricky) OR using the Ezoic plugin.
Ezoic offers better earnings than AdSense and got plenty of header bidding partners, but the problem is that they’ll show many ads. You’ll get a bad UX, and Ezoic ads display an Ezoic logo, which isn’t suitable for better user experience.
Visit a website that uses Ezoic to see what I mean.
Flickify app is also buggy; it converts articles into videos and shows ads inside but distracts readers. I like Ezoic big data analytics, one of the most potent and valuable data analysis tools among Google MCM Partners.
Ezoic is a 50/50 platform – means it has pros and cons equally. Ezoic CDN offers decent TTFB, but its Leap app is messy, and users can easily make mistakes.
Pros:
- A minimum payout with multiple options.
- Access Now is an opportunity for small publishers.
- Publishers can obtain their own ads with mediation.
- A powerful tool for data analysis (big data analytics).
- Level program allows you to grow your revenue as your website grows.
Cons:
- Ads can mess up your UX and website layout.
- Feature overload, with a lot of unnecessary features.
- Integration is complicated because Ezoic does more than ads.
4. PubGalaxy
Google recently listed PubGalaxy as an emerging monetization platform on its google certified publishing partner list. Yes, it’s the same as other ad revenue platforms with targeted optimization based on traffic behavior.
It includes rate optimizations, seasonal adjustments, and results from A/B testing, such as demand stacks and target regions. Provides ad layout enhancements.
Over 25 prominent exchanges/SSPs, including Sonobi, PubMatic, and Criteo, are integrated with PubGalaxy and header bidding with premium demand.
Several websites, including Scrabble-solver.com, Mapchart, and Wccftech, use PubGalaxy for monetization. And publishers can use PubGalaxy to monetize websites, INCREASE revenue, and focus on creativity. According to the reviews, the customer service is reliable and you get a personal account manager. And they can boost the demand for high-quality ads with modern ad technology.
What is the process for publishers to join PubGalaxy?
PubGalaxy considers many factors to determine eligibility. Monthly page views must be at least 100K. Your website should pass the transparency test with content that is not duplicated, AI-generated, and suitable for audiences.
PubGalaxy pays a net of 65 days with wire transfers.
Pros:
- Top ad exchanges and supply-side platforms.
- Optimized ad layouts to minimize interruptions.
- Modern ad technology and auction management methods.
- Demand platform implementation and location targeting using A/B testing.
Cons:
- You can’t submit a website with less than 100k page views.
- A long payout schedule with limited options
5. Setupad
Setupad helps publishers increase their ad revenue through programmatic advertising. It is now a certified Google publishing partner listed on the website. A simple, easy-to-use interface lets you monitor and optimize ad performance.
I recommend Setupad to large and medium sites as a complete monetization tool. However, its tech is less advanced than Playwire, Mediavine, etc. Many popular websites, like Ezgif and Ascii-code, use SetupAd to monetize.
SetupAd examples:
Getting Paid On SetupAd:
- Setupad pays publishers in EUR or USD.
- Payments are made after 60 days.
- Publishers have to reach a total of 100 euros to get paid.
- Accepted payment methods: Wire, Payoneer, Wise, Revolut, or Paysera.
There will be a delay in receiving your first payment. SetupAd doesn’t just show ads from one ad network; earnings come from several. Other Google MCM partners (GAM), like Raptive, Ezoic, etc., can be more innovative than SetupAd.
It requires manual integration of every ad, and you have to contact them for changes. However, SetupAD is suitable for medium- and high-traffic websites – not the most innovative solution, but it’s effective.
Pros:
- Multiple payout options.
- You can add Google Analytics to your account.
- Customization options with Setupad Self-Serve.
- It’s a certified partner of Google, IAB, and Prebid.
Cons:
- SetupAd pays you after 60 days.
- Often out of reach, your site needs at least 100K monthly visitors.
- It requires an agreement, and you should tell them before you leave.
- Ad serving and CPM rates aren’t as good as Monumatric, Mediavine, etc.
6. Playwire
Playwire is another platform that helps publishers optimize ad revenue, mainly targeting entertainment and gaming content creators.
In addition to Google AdX (GAM), Playwire has several header bidding partners to improve revenue with banner, video, and native ads at decent CPM rates.
It contains a video player that expands CPM rates with ads but can distract visitors. Use a Litespeed host to prevent speed issues.
Playwire has different revenue share models: Publishers get 50% of direct ad revenue and 70% of indirect profits. They are paid 60 days after the end of the month – all payouts are in USD, and the lowest payout is $100.
Are you eligible to join Playwire?
Yes, if you meet these criteria:
- A solid website with a niche that makes Playwire advertisers worthwhile.
- At least 50,000 monthly page views in English-speaking countries.
- It is a Google-certified MCM partner; domains should not be penalized.
Moreover, if your site has impressive traffic percentages from the UK, US, and other parts of the world, they’ll consider you. Don’t forget to use a reliable WP CDN service. Playwire monetizes websites like Raider, GtPlanet, and Manta.
Ad safety feature protects your brand from unsafe ads. It is a fine ad platform and a certified Google MCM partner for medium to large content creators.
They’re good at niches like gaming, entertainment, and lifestyle, offering access to the latest ad management, but YOU must meet the criteria.
Pros:
- GDPR and CCPA compliance tools.
- Premium demand through global direct sales.
- Set your desired brand safety and ad quality providers.
- You have access to up-to-date revenue and analytical data.
Cons:
- You must have at least 50K visitors per month.
- Sticky and video ads can degrade the user experience.
- RPMs are low compared to Mediavine, Newor Media, etc.
7. Publift
I haven’t tried Publift, but I hear good and bad things. The stature as a Google MCM partner (GCPP) is solid. Follows the same approach as AdPushup, and this is a full AD management service you can’t use with others. Publishers will get a rep and need to sign a contract. You are, however, free to leave at any time.
Publift has lots of header bidding partners, like AppNexus, TripleLift, Nobid, and more. They also offer video monetization.
What are Publift’s requirements?
Publift chooses publishers in two ways:
- Over $2,000 in revenue in the last month.
- If you get 500,000 page views or more a month, you can join Publift.
Websites like Studyrankers and Ozbargain use Publift to manage their ads. Most of the time, they approve traffic from around the world.
Getting accepted can take a week or more. It’s hard to get in if you don’t have $2,000 or more than 500k PV in recent months. That is too high, as many Google MCM partners accept fewer requirements and do a better job than Publift.
Publift pays publishers after 30 days if they make $100 or more (bank transfer is the only payment method). And stats page provides all the needed statistics.
Pros:
- More than 40 demand partners.
- Improve cookieless Monetisation.
- Brand safety with consultants and A/B testing.
- Automatically control header bidding auctions.
- Ad optimization focuses on user experience and speed.
Cons:
- Publift’s CPMs are lower than competitors.
- Small or medium sites cannot use Publift due to its entry criteria.
8. Clickio
Clickio is a programmatic monetization platform based in the UK – the company is listed as a Google MCM partner and targets UK, US, and EU PUBS. And some cool features help earn more with a decent user experience.
It offers a variety of ADS, sizes, and pricing options. Ad layouts change depending on the internet connection—a slow connection displays a few, but a fast connection shows multiple ads.
Analytics lets you track your website’s progress, income, and user behavior across devices, systems, and GEO and gain better insight into the data.
Requirements & Payments:
Publishers can sign up with Clickio using earlier ad revenue or traffic conditions. Sites that earn over $500 monthly from reputable ad networks are eligible.
According to Clickio, the traffic requirements differ from country to country. They’ll accept quality sites from Europe, North America, and A-list countries with over 100K PV. For other publishers, it’s usually more than 300K MPV.
Publishers get paid after 60 days with Clickio, which means you’ll get paid for February at the end of April. Regarding payment options, the thresholds are $100 for wire, $100 for PayPal/Payoneer, and $10 for Webmoney.
I like Clickio’s features, but I don’t like the limitations because there are better alternatives—ideal for US, UK, and European publishers.
Pros:
- Accept all major payment methods.
- More than 50 header bidding partners.
- Place one tag, and ads appear in the right places.
- Users can connect to their AdSense account and continue getting paid.
Cons:
- A lot of criteria and ad serving rules.
- RPM rates can be lower than other top MCMs.
- Ads will stop after three months if you do not generate $500 monthly.
9. Snigel
Based in Ireland, Snigel is a platform that offers premium-monetization solutions for publishers. Sites like Devicetests and Askmefast monetize with Snigel. They can access premium ad inventory through Google Ad Manager 360.
Aside from being among the best Google AdX partners, Snigel has partnerships with over 30 different SSPs worldwide. Although I’m not a fan of how they load their ads, they take a little while and take up a lot of space.
Criteria & Payments:
To get on their publisher’s list, you must have high-quality content and traffic. You must receive at least 100K monthly visitors or $50 per day in ad revenue.
Snigel’s payment schedule is NET 30; the payment method is wire transfer (no minimum threshold).
Suppose you want a different Google MCM partner for the app or website – Snigel may be right for you since it offers multiple optimizations.
Pros:
- No obligation to sign a contract.
- Smart ad refresh and optimized ads.
- A solution for recovering revenue from adblockers.
- Publishers can display video content with AdStream.
- Security features like malware detection and bot protection.
Cons:
- No multiple payouts.
- AdStream and header bidding can slow down your site.
- Only accepts publishers with high traffic and high-quality content.
10. Adnimation
Adnimation is a certified MCM partner that offers publishers a variety of monetizing options, whether that’s websites, mobile apps, or OTT services. Adnimation header bidding partners include Outbrain, GumGum, etc.
Here’s an Adnimation ad example:
Publishers can join Adnimation two ways:
- Monetization Accelerator Program.
- Adnimation’s fully managed monetization.
Fully Managed Monetization:
This program gives publishers full monetization, including native, video, and display ads, with an advanced header bidding setup. It’s aimed at medium—to high-end publishers and offers personalized service through AD tools and attention; publishers must have at least 100K monthly PV with top-tier traffic.
Publishers get paid directly to your bank – the payment term is net 35 days, which means 35 days following the end of the month. The minimum threshold, however, isn’t fair because it is $400, which is too high.
It feels scammy because small publishers may leave before they reach the threshold. For some publishers, this is a pretty high threshold. Even on premium ad platforms like Mediavine, the bare minimum is $25.
Monetization Accelerator Program:
MAP monetization is designed for small and medium publishers who like to make decisions and do things their way. You can even monetize documentation websites if they have good traffic.
The process is quick if you’ve got a decent website but don’t have enough traffic to join a full-stack ad management service; this solution lets you choose ad units and insert the codes. MAP publishers must manage the configuration process, which is the primary difference between their full-stack solutions.
Pros:
- Hybrid header bidding.
- Mobile app monetization.
- They keep it simple and focus on monetization.
- Publishers can join without page view requirements.
Cons:
- Limited support for MAP monetization.
- Less focus on modern advertising tech.
- $400 is the minimum threshold and doesn’t offer extra payout options.
Adnimation allows you to monetize your website with premium ads – they’re in the certified Google MCM partners list and accept publishers in two ways.
