ScalaHosting

ScalaHosting is a reputable web host founded in 2007 and growing rapidly. They’re great for VPS and seem to operate like a web hosting company, offering a mix of shared hosting, VPS, and dedicated packages.

If you need more power for your LiteSpeed hosting, Scala offers additional managed VPS plans, including options for high-traffic sites.

The Build #4 plan offers 12 cores and 24 GB RAM for less than $200 per month. Configure RAM, CPUs, and storage for custom VPSs based on monthly visits.

SPanel:

SPanel is their own hosting control panel, a short version of Scala Panel. Compared to cPanel, SPanel might lack some features. Still, it has many more features, like malware protection, staging, API access, spam protection, branding, Joomla Manager, LiteSpeed, OpenLiteSpeed, and Nginx.

It’s speedy, and the main benefit is no license fee. In the long term, it will save you money. You can also use SPanel with a cloud hosting provider such as Vultr. I find Scala’s managed VPS hosting interesting because it uses OpenLiteSpeed.

I like the Entry Cloud WordPress hosting plan. I wouldn’t recommend their shared or standard WordPress hosting plans.

Entry WP Cloud and other VPS providers are excellent for small, medium, and large sites using LiteSpeed. Get two dedicated CPU cores, 2GB of RAM, and a 50GB upgradeable NVMe SSD with the Entry Cloud plan.

So, how much will it cost?

Entry Cloud has three pricing plans: one month, one year, and three years. I think the 36-month option is cost-effective at $15 per month. If you choose a 1-year plan, the monthly cost can reach nearly $20, while a 1-month plan can cost $30.

It’s a costly option – the 1-month plan is acceptable for testing, but the 36-month program is better for the long term.

Entry WP Cloud features:

• Scala all VPS support LiteSpeed/OpenLiteSpeed and can use LSC cache plugins for all CMSs, including WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, etc.
• No limit on how many websites/emails you can host.
• Like most others, Scala offers a free domain for one year or longer.
• Yes, this plan includes a dedicated IP address.
• When you run out of space, just expand your server storage. You can also increase the RAM and CPU.
• It is almost a VPS, so you have ensured server resources for your website.
• White-label is fair for the price. The name SCALA won’t show up in the control panel. It is useful if you work with an agency or as a freelancer.

It has many more features than that. I don’t think it’s necessary to list them all here. The entry WP plan is enough for websites with up to 100k page views.

It has sufficient RAM and CPU to handle some traffic and includes NVMe, which is faster than SSD. A website’s load speed depends on hosting, themes, and plugins. Make sure you select a web host with sufficient server capacity.

When you use WordPress LiteSpeed web hosts, you don’t just have to use the LSC plugin; you can also use others like FlyingPress.

Scala is a good choice if you want LiteSpeed WordPress hosting and can use any CMS or PHP framework you prefer. They aren’t ideal for small sites that need only a few server resources because they can be costly.

Guru

GURU is a UK-based cloud host that uses LiteSpeed technology. Compared to the average host, it offers several benefits and avoids aggressive marketing.

Guru’s primary data center in London is a notable option for EU customers. Their WordPress hosting is better than Hostinger, A2, WPX, etc.

Due to fast resources, LiteSpeed, off-site backups, etc., may be more expensive than others. Even their entry-level shared plan includes 100GB of NVMe storage. This is great if anyone needs more disk space for their website.

With Guru Hosting, you can choose from a variety of hosting plans. In this article, I’m just referring to GURU WordPress LiteSpeed Hosting.

There are two plans: Shared and Shared Boost. You can get Shared Cloud Hosting Pro, which is pricey but suitable for big websites.

Shared boost plan is a good option if your site gets fewer than 100K monthly visitors. Get 100GB NVMe, 2TB bandwidth, 2GB RAM, backups, etc., for $17/M. It includes unlimited sites and free migration.

They have LiteSpeed on all their hosting packages, no matter what type of hosting you pick, whether it’s shared, VPS, reseller, or dedicated.

Is Guru An Ideal LiteSpeed Web Host For WordPress?

Yes, Guru offers LiteSpeed Power full-management hosting. I like how fast everything loads as well. I don’t think Guru is incredible, but I usually like them. However, the price is a little higher. I wouldn’t recommend Guru to everyone.

This is an ideal option for EU customers or traffic originating in the EU or UK. Suitable for those looking for reliable server resources and support.

HostArmada

I’ve been using HostArmada for the past few years, and they’ve been fine. My first impression was that I didn’t like the service.

But after a few months, I didn’t experience downtime or disruption. They lack modern technology, but static (cacheable) websites will be acceptable for speed. HostArmada offers faster performance than big names like SiteGround.

The speed is way more rapid than that of typical crap hosting companies like GoDaddy, A2, Kinsta, Bluehost, and others. HostArmada uses cloud hosts, including Linode. Shared hosting offers several useful features.

HostArmada’s price is lower than that of aggressively marketed hosts. Although this company is only about three or four years old, its reasonable pricing and features have helped it grow quickly. You’ll find all the usual things in cPanel.

Provides multiple hosting options: shared, reseller, VPS, and dedicated. But Speed Reaper is the only plan that offers LiteSpeed.

HostArmada’s WordPress Speed Reaper plan is the only one that includes the LiteSpeed stack. Other hosting services run on Nginx with Apache. This package is ideal for medium-sized sites with up to 100K monthly traffic.

It includes features such as H/3, server cache, object cache, 40GB SSD, 6 cores, and 6GB RAM. Other features include free migrations, private NS, daily backups, and more.

HostArmada’s marketing and pricing strategies are the same as others. It’s affordable for the long term with high renewal prices, but reasonable compared to others.

HostArmada offers four types of billing cycles:

Prices can change at any time. I’ve seen this priced lower during special promotions; there’s a trap. You need a long-term contract to secure discounted pricing. But there’s also a 45-day money-back guarantee.

I see many pros for HostArmada, but what about the cons?

HostArmada’s Cons:

• SSD: still use SSDs, while most competitors already use NVMe. It isn’t a problem for static sites, but NVMe can improve performance for dynamic websites.
• No Redis: Memcached is Speed Reaper’s object cache. I’d use Redis.
• Long-term dilemma: HostArmada offers long-term discounts, as most shared hosting providers do. Renewals can be more expensive.

Is HostArmada A Reliable LiteSpeed Server Hosting?

With enough server resources, HostArmada is this list’s most affordable LiteSpeed hosting provider. Compared with what you usually pay for a service, this option offers lower pricing with added features. Almost every hosting provider has pros and cons, and HostArmada is no exception. They have good performance, service, and helpful support. Yes, but it doesn’t have the latest features.

MechanicWeb

You might not have heard of “MechanicWeb.” The company needs a better-looking, more attractive website because its current design is unattractive.

However, when it comes to hosting, this one offers a vast array of features based on LiteSpeed. Due to their lack of bold marketing and significant affiliate commissions, they’re not as famous as other crap web hosts. Therefore, you won’t find MechanicWeb in most hosting recommendation articles.

MechanicWeb hosting uses NVMe v4 (faster than standard SSDs or HDDs) and operates 12 data centers across five countries.

Users can get everything from shared hosting to bare metals. Users still receive high-speed CPUs, DDR5 RAM, and NVMe storage with shared hosting, which is better than other web hosts.

They have shared hosting packages that offer 2 GB+ of RAM, cPanel, IPv6, and 500k inodes (still costing under $5/mo). That’s enough for most websites.

This is way better than SG, A2, GreenGeeks, and other crap hosts. Compared to other providers, I prefer the pure version plans, which have no long-term agreements and offer transparent, fixed prices with no upfront payment.

With MechanicWeb, you can choose from VPS, dedicated servers, or semi-dedicated LiteSpeed hosting. (high-frequency computing with NVMe).

There aren’t many things I don’t like about them. They only need an attractive website and a little marketing to attract customers.

Conclusion

• You can host any kind of website with MechanicWeb.
• The performance is good, and they’re not expensive.
• They’re top in multiple benchmark tests.
• If you’re looking for a mature solution, I recommend MechanicWeb.

If you use crypto ad networks or other ad networks, you should use a hosting service with a good score. MechanicWeb LS hosting is an acceptable option.

ChemiCloud

ChemiCloud is not a favorite of mine, but they typically receive positive user feedback and maintain strong Trustpilot profiles.

Compared with most other LiteSpeed server hosting plans, the ChemiCloud WP Turbo plan offers several standout features. However, you must commit to at least one year; otherwise, the monthly fee could be $20 or more.

Like most web hosts, you’ll get a better discount if you sign up for a long-term contract; otherwise, it can get expensive.

It’s good that ChemiCloud WordPress Hosting uses LiteSpeed for all plans. I’d recommend the Turbo plan because it includes additional features such as HTTP/3, Redis, and a malware scanner, and supports 100K monthly visits.

Pros:

• Every plan includes a LiteSpeed server, and you can host as many sites as you want (40 GB NVMe disk space). RAM 3GB, 3 CPU Cores
• Sufficient for 100K Monthly visits
• Free domain if you sign up for a long time
• Transfer your website for free
• Multiple data centers (11 in total).
• Many modern features include Redis, MariaDB, and the latest PHP versions.

Cons:

• ChemiCloud’s dashboard is super slow (tabs take a while to load)
• They’re not as fast as some blogs state
• Limited resources: you may reach your limits once you get big
• Not good for WooCommerce and dynamic websites.

I recommend the Turbo WP plan to anyone interested in ChemiCloud. I don’t recommend it for large websites, but it’s ideal for blogs and average sites with less than 100k traffic. They use cPanel, but their hosting dashboard isn’t great.

ChemiCloud uses Akamai (Linode) cloud servers with AMD Epyc processors, which are better than average. Support appears familiar based on user reviews.

FastComet

FastComet is another well-known hosting provider that receives strong user reviews for support, has a high rating on Trustpilot, and is known for its low prices.

FastComet WordPress hosting has enough RAM and CPU capacity. They offer discounted pricing for any term, so it doesn’t matter if you sign up for 1 month or 3 years; you’ll save the same amount.

FastComet has 12 data centers worldwide, covering most regions, and cPanel is their hosting control panel. Offer 3 types of WordPress hosting:

1. FastCloud Basic
2. FastCloud Plus
3. FastCloud Extra

FastCloud Extra is the only plan that supports LiteSpeed WP hosting. This is a good choice; you get 4 cores and 4GB RAM (shared), and the good point is that it is built with LiteSpeed Enterprise. Enough to handle less than 100K hits monthly, and comes with a 40GB NVMe. For the first year, this plan costs less than $55.

With FastComet, you get updated web tools like LiteSpeed Enterprise, AMD EPYC, NVMe, Exploit Protection, etc.

Despite its pros, FastComet hosting has some downsides:

• They’re still using MySQL instead of MariaDB
• I wouldn’t recommend FastComet for VPS
• Instead of Redis, they use Memcached
• LiteSpeed isn’t available on all plans; it’s only available on FastCloud Extra.

Suppose you are looking for a reliable host for your standard websites, such as blogs and business sites. In that case, FastComet is still a good choice.

But it’s not the finest choice for e-commerce and dynamic sites. They offer VPS and dedicated servers, but the service may not be as reliable. Although FastComet LiteSpeed hosting is an acceptable choice for WordPress sites.

NameHero

Try NameHero web hosting, a US-based LiteSpeed host. But it’s expensive, and there is a trap: you must buy a 3-year plan at a suitable price. If you want to try them, that is fine; they are a solid brand.

However, NameHero is more expensive than other providers and doesn’t offer multiple data centers. NH needs to understand how competitor prices and promotions work.

NameHero has good uptime, nice features, and solid support. Despite that, it’s still more expensive than HostArmada, FastComet, ChemiCloud, etc.

They offer four types of LiteSpeed WP Hosting:

1. Starter WordPress: I recommend this one for beginners or websites with less than 10K visitors a month – still expensive, even with 1 GB of RAM. It includes 1 GB of shared RAM and 250k NVMe inodes.
2. Plus WordPress: You can get 2 GB of shared RAM, which is enough for websites with less than 25K monthly visitors – you can host 7 websites.
3. Turbo WordPress: NameHero’s most popular WordPress hosting plan. There is no limitation to the number of applications you can host. You have 3 GB of RAM, which is sufficient for 50K monthly visits.
4. Business WordPress: This is a pricey option. For that, I think you can get a better VPS with 4 GB of RAM, which should be sufficient for 100k visits.

I don’t want to list their prices because they change so often. I also don’t like that they hide their pricing structure. Process isn’t transparent, and NVMe is only available in the US data center. NameHero uses LiteSpeed Technologies, which offers advantages over OLS. You’ll get a free domain with all long-term plans.

Their hosting is better than Hostinger, GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc. I think NameHero has two big cons. The first is the lack of multiple data centers, and the second is the confusing and inconsistent pricing.

Krystal

Krystal is a UK-based hosting provider with excellent customer support and a high Trustpilot rating. It isn’t cheap, but it doesn’t offer long-term gimmicks. They hide VAT prices with a clever trick; you must tap to get the actual prices.

Krystal Hosting is found in the U.K. and also has a data center in the U.S. Therefore, it’s ideal for people in Europe and the U.S.

In addition to standard WordPress hosting, Krystal offers VPS, fully managed, enterprise, and dedicated hosting options powered by LiteSpeed and NVMe.

I think Krystal Emerald’s hosting plan is decent for the price.

• You can get unlimited NVMe storage, 6GB RAM, and 3 cores.
• Almost $30/M, or get 2 months free with a year plan.
• It includes extras such as emergency support, 4-hour backups, PCI DSS scans, and additional resources.
• There’s a 60-day money-back guarantee.

If you have a high-traffic site, you can choose a plan such as Krystal’s Diamond plan. It’s equipped with high-performance features, including 6 cores and 12 GB of RAM. Krystal is a good LiteSpeed host if your web traffic is based in Europe or the US.

Or, pick something cheap or go for something robust at a higher price. But I think there are better alternatives. They’re famous for their quick support.

I am uncomfortable with Krystal’s hosting expenses; prices with hidden VAT need to be more transparent. Get a cloud VPS with more server resources at a lower cost. LiteSpeed Cache is a kind of server-side caching mechanism.

A2 Hosting

I don’t prefer A2 web hosting because I can find a more robust provider than A2 that performs better – LiteSpeed is now supported on all plans at A2 Hosting.

A2 has four data centers: Michigan, Arizona, Amsterdam, and Singapore. Apparently, A2 has a lot of outages, which isn’t great.

The other problem is that renewal rates are nearly 3/4 times higher than the discount price. And a Discount is likely to be available if you sign up one to three years in advance. I don’t see the point in paying for shared hosting for three years.

Every shared hosting plan at A2 Hosting now supports LiteSpeed.

Pros:

• A2 includes Redis, Memcached, NVMe, and LiteSpeed
• Unlimited Emails/Sites
• Updated server-side software
• A lot of developer tools
• Cloud backup for free
• Enough RAM and cores (but not as many as competitors)

Cons:

• Uptime isn’t good
• Comparatively expensive
• You need to sign up for a long-term plan to get the best deals
• Trustpilot reviews show that support and migration aren’t very good
• LiteSpeed doesn’t support all hosting plans

It’s okay to use A2 Hosting, but HostArmada, MechanicWeb, FastComet, etc., are cheaper even with their higher plans. Even if you elect A2 higher plans for 12 months, it’ll cost you $13/m.

So, if you wish to choose the A2 Turbo packages, I think the wise decision is to pick the ScalaHosting Entry Cloud plan over the A2. You’ll get dedicated resources with modern features – more customizations.

GreenGeeks

Aside from LiteSpeed, GreenGeeks has average performance. And GreenGeeks isn’t for dynamic or high-traffic websites, but you can try it.

Yes, there are many negative reviews about cancellations and overcharges. I’ve seen people complain that it’s impossible to cancel GreenGeek services.

GreenGeeks has data centers in Chicago, Montreal, Amsterdam, and Singapore. Performance-wise, they’re better than Hostinger. Like many providers, it’s a long-term deal. GreenGeeks is a good option, but I like HostArmada better because it’s a cheaper option – it offers 3 different WordPress hosting plans:

1. Lite: It’s ideal for testing or starting from scratch.
2. Pro: Good for average websites under 25K monthly traffic. You can host multiple small websites.
3. Premium: This is good for sites with less than 50K visitors. Get Redis, a Dedicated IP, a free domain, unlimited websites, etc.

Pros:

• Utilize LiteSpeed and Cache (WordPress-optimized)
• With a premium hosting plan, you get AlphaSSL.
• Get a free domain, AND Migration is free
• Premium plans come with a free dedicated IP
• Object Cache (Memcached and Redis) with Premium

Cons:

• It’s not a monthly thing – it’s a one-year deal (a trap)
• No one knows what RAM, CPU, storage, and technology are on servers.
• Advanced features are only available with the premium hosting plan.
• There’s a lot of criticism about their pricing and refunds. Your credit card will be charged even if you don’t renew.

I think the cons outweigh the pros – they have an excellent mission of planting trees, but there’s more negativity than positivity on GreenGeeks. Taking risks isn’t necessary because there are many better options.

Hostinger

Affiliates and marketing strategies are the primary reasons for Hostinger’s popularity. Exactly the same as Bluehost once you explore its features.

Don’t trust Hostinger’s affiliates or the false ratings. There’s a lot of downtime and decreased availability on Hostinger’s network status page, so you can’t expect 99.9% uptime.

They use LiteSpeed servers and Cache, but resource- and service-wise, they’re poor. You can see that considerably popular blogs and affiliate-based websites rank Hostinger as one of the best hosting companies on the web.

There are many companies in the world of web hosting that provide WordPress hosting, but not every company offers LiteSpeed. These are my top LiteSpeed hosting recommendations:

• With a cloud host: The most suitable way to use LiteSpeed. AWS, Google, DO, Linode, and Vultr all support LS – easy for a techie. But I recommend cloud hosting control panels like RunCloud, SpinupWP, etc., for average users.
• ScalaHosting: SPanel and Scala are suitable for VPS.
• MechanicWeb: It offers reliable performance and a wide range of options.
• Guru/Krystal: Two popular Europe-based hosting companies have LiteSpeed set up for all their hosting plans.
• HostArmada/FastComet: Same vibe, but only the higher plans include LiteSpeed – Solid for static websites.
• ChemiCloud/NameHero/A2: They use modern technologies like NVMe, Redis, and other caching layers. Kinda expensive. My opinion is that ChemiCloud is the best of the three.

A quality CDN, like FlyingCDN, is a good addition to any hosting provider. The LiteSpeed server was released before Nginx and is even faster than Nginx, so it should be very popular. In comparison to Nginx, it was paid.
